TikTok-Owner ByteDance Introduces Its First Smartphone
The speculated handset by ByteDance (TikTok’s owner) is now accessible. The Nut Jianguo Pro 3 is the first handset by ByteDance. It is a continuance of work by Smartisan (the Chinese handset maker), and it is being launched below the Smartisan brand.
As users learned previously this year, ByteDance purchased a set of Smartisan talent and patents. ByteDance then assisted create the Jianguo Pro 3 and bundled it with branded functions. Actually, it did not make a decision to alter the naming scheme.
Consumers will be capable of launching Douyin—the Chinese edition of TikTok—on the lock screen by swiping up, media claims. They will also be capable of applying TikTok filters and effects to any-length videos. Hence, while the handset may still be below the Smartisan brand, it will offer ByteDance a devoted platform and smartphone to share its features and apps in new manners.
The Jianguo Pro 3 starts with a cost of 2,899 Yuan (almost $412) and is on sale in China. It has Snapdragon 855+ processor by Qualcomm, 256GB of storage, almost 12GB of RAM, and 4 cameras.
On a related note, Xiaomi this week disclosed the CC9 Pro handset that has one of the hi-resolution cameras, which you can purchase. For example, the 108 MP camera has more resolution as compared to 102 MP medium format GFX 100 camera by Fujifilm, which has a sensor almost 15 times bigger. Apart from this, the handset has 4 other back cameras: a 12 MP 2x telephoto, 5 MP 5x telephoto, a 2 MP macro camera with huge 1.75um pixels, and 20 MP ultra wide-angle lens. As reported previously, Samsung created the 108 MP Bright HMX ISOCELL sensor in association with Xiaomi. It’s pretty huge for a 1/1.33-inch type sensor.
