Smart Speaker By Google Is Getting Smarter

At its yearly developer event, I/O 2018, Google had disclosed that Google Home (its smart speaker) will become smarter in the upcoming period. Until now, the speakers can understand 2 commands simultaneously. On the other hand, Google has now unveiled that its Google Home devices will soon show multiple commands support simultaneously. The search behemoth further claimed that the device will now need less wordiness.

Google has posted that the device can now understand maximum 3 commands at a time but the function is restricted to the U.K., the U.S., Australia, and Canada. Many consumers are stating that they are encountering a difficult time making these devices understand 3 commands consecutively, but a handful of them are claiming that this function is working fine.

For example, if you need to switch on your light and v, then all you require to say is “switch on my living room light and TV”. Earlier you required to merge 2 commands by “and”. For instance, you had to say “turn on my Living room light and turn on my living room TV.”

Google has not yet declared this function formally since the support page still claims that it is restricted limited to 2 commands only.

At the annual event I/O 2018, Google had also claimed that to wake up its devices, c consumers will not have to employ the command “Ok, Google” or “Hey, Google” every time.

Speaking of Google, the company’s third generation of handsets namely Google Pixel 3 XL and Google Pixel 3 are anticipated to witness the daylight in the H2 of 2018 with the rumors flooding in.
